1970 Ford Bronco
Call For Price
The early Bronco earned its following through rugged simplicity and unmistakable style. This 1970 Ford Bronco Sport builds on that reputation with an exceptional level of craftsmanship from Remuda Motoring of Austin, Texas. Its classic appearance makes the first impression, but the depth of the work sets this Ford apart. Every detail reflects the care invested in creating a standout example of Ford's original sport utility. The two-stage Wimbledon White finish covers replacement steel bodywork that preserves the Bronco's familiar proportions and uncut rear wheel openings. A contrasting Shimmer Aluminum Cerakote-finished hardtop complements matching bumpers and trim, including the grille letters, light bezels, door handles and repositioned Bronco Sport emblems. The body-color grille retains classic Ford lettering and amber parking lamps, while LED headlights and taillights update the lighting. '69 Mustang side markers and '67 mirrors introduce subtle changes to the original design. The driver's mirror features an interior adjustment control, while automatically deploying AMP Research power steps tuck beneath the body when not in use. Body-matched 15" steel wheels wear polished Ford hubcaps and 31" BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires, with a mild suspension lift completing the stance. Under the hood, a 351ci Windsor V8 features Edelbrock multiport electronic fuel injection, AFR cylinder heads, electronic ignition and a serpentine accessory drive. An NV3550 5-speed manual transmission with a short-throw shifter feeds a Dana 20 part-time transfer case, with a Ford 9" rear housing 4.30 gears and a limited-slip differential. A Dana 30 front axle features WARN manual locking hubs. Finned Edelbrock valve covers and a matching round air cleaner carry the silver detailing into an engine compartment finished with body-color panels and neatly routed wiring and plumbing. Long-tube headers feed a custom stainless-steel dual exhaust system with catalytic converters, a Borla muffler and downturn tips. The original frame was stripped to bare steel and refinished in satin black, then equipped with progressive front coil springs, Bilstein 5100 shocks and front and rear Hellwig sway bars. A heavy-duty track bar, upgraded steering linkage and steering stabilizer accompany quick-ratio power steering, while Hydroboost-assisted four-wheel disc brakes provide stopping power. Saddle Tan upholstery with contrast stitching and vertically pleated inserts covers reclining front bucket seats, a fold-and-tumble rear bench and matching panels. Front and rear headrests, a matching dash pad and upholstered shift boots extend the treatment throughout the cabin. A locking center console adds storage and a padded armrest. The body-matched dashboard places Dakota Digital instrumentation at its center, incorporating a GPS speedometer alongside simplified controls and billet hardware. Modern air conditioning and heat bring all-weather comfort to the cabin. An ididit tilt steering column supports an original-style Ford steering wheel with a white rim and Cerakote-finished spokes. A concealed Bluetooth audio system powers six speakers through an amplifier. A four-point roll cage incorporates overhead grab handles, complemented by retractable three-point seat belts and a light-colored headliner. Extensive Cerakote detailing carries through the cabin, down to the knobs, window cranks, pedals and shift levers. Remuda's attention to detail gives this Bronco a distinct identity while preserving the appeal of Ford's original design. The extensive restoration and carefully selected upgrades put substance behind its classic appearance. This is an early Bronco done to a very high level.
