Finished in Black over a Tan Leather Interior, this attractive example features Jaguar\'s 4.0L Inline 6-cylinder engine paired with an automatic transmission and has traveled just over 78,000 original miles. The XJS remains one of Jaguar\'s most recognizable grand touring designs, combining distinctive styling, comfortable accommodations, and refined performance. The 4.0L inline-six offers a smooth and approachable alternative to the V12, making this an appealing choice for someone looking to enjoy classic Jaguar ownership at a reasonable price. The Black exterior presents nicely, with some minor paint imperfections as shown in the photographs. The car retains its elegant Jaguar proportions and distinctive convertible profile. Features include: Black power-operated convertible top, Blacked-out taillights, Factory Jaguar wheels mounted with older BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires. The Tan Leather Interior provides a beautiful contrast to the Black exterior and retains the traditional Jaguar luxury atmosphere. The cabin is clean, with leather seating showing some age-related wear but no rips or tears. The burled wood trim is attractive overall, although some cracking is present especially around the shifter and will require attention, as shown. Additional equipment includes AM/FM radio with CD player in trunk (cartridge missing) and Built-in alarm system. Powered by Jaguar\'s 4.0L Inline 6-cylinder engine and automatic transmission, this XJS runs and drives very smoothly. It has been maintained by a local foreign car shop in Massachusetts. The undercarriage is solid, with typical surface rust visible as shown. The clean, carpeted trunk compartment includes a a new full-size spare tire with cover, a new battery installed in November 2026, and the CD player mounted in the trunk. The car also comes with its owner\'s manual and tonneau cover, as shown. This 1993 Jaguar XJS Convertible offers an appealing combination of British luxury, distinctive styling, and open-air motoring at a reasonable price. While certainly not a concours-quality example, it is an attractive better than driver-quality Jaguar with the mechanical character and classic styling that make the XJS such an appealing grand touring convertible. Everything works on the car except the rear power window which should operate when the top is lowered. Enjoy it as-is or invest a little additional attention to bring out its full potential. A great opportunity to experience classic Jagua-r ownership without the premium price of a fully restored example. Please call Jeff for more information or to schedule a viewing. Thanks for Looking!
