1978 GMC C1500 Long Bed

Good

$9,900

The C and K series trucks were produced by GM from 1960 through 2002 and were marketed by both Chevrolet and GMC. The C model denoted that it was a 2-wheel drive and K models were equipped with 4WD. Development of the 3rd generation trucks began in 1968 when vehicle parts underwent extensive computer testing before being used. Introduced for the 1973 model year and produced through 1991 the “Square Body” trucks featured largely rectangular front fascia which was revolutionary in appearance breaking away from the typical truck design. This particular example is a long bed equipped with its original 5.7L 350ci V8 as well as its original T350 3-speed auto tranny and 12 bolt posi rear end. It also has its original blue and white two-tone paint, trim and interior. This truck came from Kentucky and has a clean vehicle history. It currently shows 700 miles which represents 100,700 miles. We just installed a new Quadrajet 4bbl carb, a new intake gasket, a new oil pan gasket, a new trans pan gasket, a new master cylinder / power brake booster, new front discs and new rear brake shoes. We also just tuned it up, installed a new battery, serviced it and it runs great. With its unmistakable late-70s character, this C1500 is a solid choice for anyone seeking a vintage American pickup. If you agree we suggest reaching out before someone else beats you to it!
