1973 Ford F100

1973 Ford F-100 Custom 4x4 4-Speed Manual Snow Plow Ranch Truck with Great Bones Offered for consignment at Platt Motors this 1973 Ford F-100 Custom 4x4 is an honest old ranch truck that s ready for its next chapter. If you ve been searching for a solid builder hunting rig farm truck or classic Ford project this one deserves a look. Finished in white with a green roof this F-100 has spent its life working on a Northern California ranch. It wears its age proudly but underneath the dust is a truck with a lot of potential. The body presents well for a work truck of this vintage and the cab corners appear to be in surprisingly respectable condition always one of the first places we inspect on these classic Ford pickups. Power is sent through a desirable 4-speed manual transmission and four-wheel-drive drivetrain. While the truck is currently not running the owner states it was running when it was parked. It has been sitting since approximately 2018 and we encourage buyers to inspect it and plan on recommissioning it before returning it to service. Included with the sale is a snow plow making this an attractive option for someone living in snow country or looking for a capable winter project. The owner also has an additional engine and various engine parts that can accompany the truck and additional photos of those components are available upon request. Inside the cabin remains largely original. The upholstery has seen better days the steering wheel shows typical age-related cracking and the radio appears to be missing. The owner s manual is still with the truck adding a nice original touch. The floors show the expected dirt and debris from years of ranch use with some rust visible in the driver s floor area though the cab corners appear to have held up well. Outside you ll find: * 4-wheel drive * 4-speed manual transmission * Aftermarket wheels * Snow plow included * Utility toolbox (toolbox not included; owner s tools will be removed) * Additional engine and parts available * Salvage title This isn t a restored show truck and we re not pretending it is. It s an honest complete project that offers a solid foundation for someone who appreciates classic Ford pickups. Whether you restore it build a trail truck or return it to work on the ranch this F-100 has the character and potential that are becoming harder to find. As with all of our consignments we encourage inspections and are happy to assist with nationwide shipping.
