$41,500
1950 Ford Custom Coupe The Fordillac originated in 1949 when innovative mechanics and racers, began installing Cadillac OHV V8 engines into new Ford cars, replacing the standard flathead engines. These conversions were marketed as Fordillacs, offering 160-horsepower, 331-cubic-inch Cadillac engines with either manual or automatic transmissions, along with optional engine and chassis upgrades. These vehicles were a very important milestone in early hot rod history. Paint and exterior Exterior paint is in very good condition with a high degree of shine and glitter from small amount of metallic in the paint. Very nice! Upholstery and interior Soft and pliable interior material with no flaws or imperfections. The trunk is also done with same material. Vintage A/C unit installed. Engine Very torquey 500ci engine that is both smooth at idle but rumbles under power. Mileage Don't really know the history of this build but is very sharp to look at and both comfortable and roomy to drive on trips. Car starts right up with no hesitation or stumble under gas. Wheels and tires Steel painted wheels with small hub caps. Very clean look to them. Brand New 1' white wall tires, purchased and installed in the last month. Like new spare tire is in trunk next to relocated 12volt battery. Brakes Front brakes are disc while back are band type brakes. Very good stopping ability. Transmission Installed. smooth shift TH 400 3-speed automatic transmission. No issues
